Aveen is 22 years of age. She is both a Canadian and Irish citizen. Both her parents were born and raised in Ireland; her mother from Belfast, Northern Ireland and her father from County Down.
Currently, Aveen is in her first year Master of Science specializing in High Energy (Particle) Physics.
During her studies she interned at TRIUMF (Canada National Particle Accelerator Center) as well as CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research.

Aveen participated in Model United Nations. She loves reading as well as sketching. She volunteered for six years at Vaudreuil-Soulanages Palliative Care Centre. She also participates in Irish Dance and represents Quebec and Canada on a regional, National and International stage.
