The UIS Scholarship Committee had the difficult task of selecting a recipient for this year. Each person was valid in their own right, but only one individual could be chosen. The individual who shone above the rest to be awarded the Catherine Polson Memorial Scholarship this year was Julia Rochford.
Julia holds a bachelor’s degree in social work (McGill) and has begun her bachelor’s degree in civil law (BCL) and common law (JD) as well as her master’s in social work (MSW). Julia is also very involved in the community.
